More fun

There's a thread that runs through children's media that I've come to think of as "more fun than a poke in the eye with..." The last one was the "It's Fun To Share" song sung by rather ungainly fairies in one of the hated (OK, hated by me; somebody must like them) "The Wheels On The Bus" DVDS. It's nice to share, it's gracious to share, it's pleasant to reap the benefits of sharing in both social approval and sharing reciprocity, but it's hardly fun. People who confuse the nice with the fun are going to have very tedious teen rebellion years is all I can say.

Today at the library I saw this one, featuring "Bucky Chopper."
